Is sariska(in india) a national park..or a wildlife sanctuary?

  1. Basicallly, Sariska is a Tiger Reserve. But alas..! In the last years census it was found that there were no tigers at all in Sariska.

    Every Tiger Reserve itself constitutes from a national park and  every national park (forest) is a wildlife century.

    Government has not created any Tiger Reserve/wildlife century directly.

    National Century is a first step towards this direction.

    For Example- Tadoba was a National Park prior to 1998, In 1998 its area was extended upto Kolsa Range and Mohurli range and declared as Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve (TATR).
