Someone needs to be tapped on the shoulder and told gently that the music was not so great that we need to memorialize all the old playlists and torture people with them today!

  1. Satellite radio is like cable TV.  All these channels with nothing on.

I love my Ipod and canceled my Sirius subscription.

  2. Actually...I like those old countdowns.  I like the new ones too - I'm listening to Alt Nation Channel 21 on Sirius --- #3 this week is Pork & Beans by Weezer.

My beef is with those cheap boomboxes...the second one I bought just died.  i now listen through streaming audio on eth web...

  3. What are you talking about?  The only bad thing about satellite radio is that Howard Stern is on there.  I am not a prude but do not understand this empty headed dork.  I admire his ability to make money but cannot listen to him for more than 12 seconds.

  4. satellite radio is the best thing since sliced bread

  5. Satellite radio kicks butt.  I rarely listen to regular radio since I got my XM four years ago.

Memorialize?  The old playlists that are on satellite radio are part of the reason it is so successful.  People that don't listed to "today's music" have a very limited selection of stations they can listen to.  And even then, the stations play the same songs every four hours for years and years.
