Why do you have to send a "thank you" note if you received the present, good, favor, etc. in person and you thanked them right then and there?

  1. If you send a card to someone even after you  thank them in person it usually tells them that you made the extra effort just to say "thank you" one more time. It's nice to have it done to you. Sometimes people feel better when they do it to other people.

I would suggest doing it anyway, it doesn't take that long and it lets that person know that you are thinking about them every time they use the "gift" they gave you.

  2. If you open a gift  in front of someone and say thank you that is sufficient. If you receive a gift and do not say thank you  in person a card should be sent.

  3. It depends. If you know the person well enough, saying thank-you in person is good enough, otherwise people just expect thank-you cards.

  4. if they do u a favour you should do them a favour just its beter to say thatnk you
