Is school a good place to get a girlfriend?

Well, I'm about to turn 18, and I've never had a girlfriend in my life. Sad, but true.

Anyway, the only time I've ever tried has been at school. I'm a Senior, and I would like to have one. The problem is, everyone at school has a boyfriend, and is already part of GROUPS I'm not part of.

I have a decent amount of friends.

Should I go outside of school to get one? There are no clubs around where I live, so don't tell me to go to a club.

I was thinking bar, theater, mall, etc. What should I do?
