  1. The city yes if needed but the government no.

  2. if the govt were serious about slowing down around school zones, they should add:

    1) permanent traffic calming devices

    2) flashing lights to indicate when it's time to slow down.

it really, really annoys me that police perch outside school zones nabbing drivers doing 50 in a 40 zone.

this may come across as ignorant, but as i don't have kids and i don't work with people who have kids 3pm in the afternoon to me, means afternoon snack time, not "schools finishing" slow down.  by this, i mean i'm completely oblivious to school hours and without obvious warnings to slow down, chances are, i'm not going to realise it's "that time of the day"

  3. Always want to have it both ways.

Dont really want to comply with the speed limits no matter where they are but you will be the first people to scream if someone close to you gets hurt in these circumstances.

Rules cane be selective they are either good for all or none.

  4. the gov.?  maybe the taxpayers in the area.  The Gov.  No
