  1. no. if your from scotland your scottish. if your from ireland your irish. they're two different places. xx

  2. They are separate peoples.  The Scottish come from Scotland and the Irish from Ireland.  Historically however, the Irish were refered to as 'Scots', so when they colonised their nearest neighbour, they refered to the country as Scotland.  Literally, the land of the Irish!!

  3. no but they kinda have the same voices not as much but pretty close?

  4. Scotland and Ireland are 2 separate countries.

  5. Mimi ... Northern Ireland is in the UK... last I checked!!!

  6. emmmmmm noooooooo.

  7. No they are two seperate countries and peoples as has been said by the other guys - what you might be thinking of is Ulster Scots in Northern Ireland? It's a 'language' but its more of a dialect, if you look at the spelling, it's basically the Belfast accent, spelt as it is pronounced.

  8. Well, in terms, if you are known to be scottish then you are irish and if you are irish you are scottish. The only reason that happened was because so many people had to move into Scotland. But no, its not a type of Irish. Although you are probably Irish and Scotish.

  9. Scotland is in the United kingdom... Ireland is not.. There will be a lot of rude remarks for this question! ( ;

  10. SEPARATE PLACES AND COUNTRIES AND NATIONALITIES

    scotland is still part of the U.K ireland is a separate country

    however scots gaelic and irish gaelic are related languages

    the culture is similar which is why people get confused

  11. no they're two different countries
