  1. yes

  2. You can buy ordinary table salt that isn't iodized.  By law, if the box of salt you buy is iodized, it has to say so very clearly on the label.  Sea salt is usually not iodized, but Morton's salt is cheaper - just read the label - Morton's can be had iodized or without the iodine.  Kosher salt is also not ordinarily iodized.

  3. sea salt does not have iodine!    Neither does kosher salt !  Table salt has it if the box says so.  Not all table salt has it.

  4. iodide is different from iodide. i believe iodide is a negatively (-1) charged ion and iodine has no charge, use it

  5. Buy 'white meths' from the chemist not the salt

  6. you can just use soap or get some rubbing alcohol that works fine too.

  7. The iodine attacks the metal, not your nose.

Iodide is a chemical radial attached to the salt.

  8. prolly a typo and its prollyok to use but I would go to the store and just get the right sea salt to be sure. after all you saidit yourself you dont wan a scar.

  9. iodide is its own element, but yes that is safe to use on your piercing.

  10. Exactly, salt that made from water sea contained iodine that's why sea food has a good minerals but sometimes iodine lost in the process to make salt, so for health iodines riched

  11. If salt doesn't have iodine in it, the law dictates that it must be clearly labeled "iodide free," or something like that. So, if it says it doesn't have iodide, it doesn't. If it isn't marked, don't use it.
