Is sea water in Vancouver safe for consumption?

Why would you want to consume sea water when there is limitless supplies of fresh water readily available?  Sea water can kill through dehydration so I would strongly advise you stop drinking it.  As for Vancouver's salt water, it is safe, but not to drink.

I dont think it will harm you if you swallow some by accident, but I would go trying to drink it. :)

Do you mean to drink?? Are you insane?? No sea water is safe to drink....it will kill you... if youre swimming and swallow some..youll be ok... but do not drink it.....sheesh

Probably won't kill you, but it's very polluted.  It's so polluted that the beaches often have signs saying to not enter water due to pollution levels.
