  2. but if your thinking like that then a sit in the park on a nice day,,,shopping getting something nice..writing a letter, drawing, diy anything would take your mind off it,

  3. ghosts don't exist.

    prozac does.

    nuff said :)

  4. The only way I can think of it being a cure, is that you now have something strong to think about which can't really be put aside.

  5. no, i don't think so, because i don't belive in ghosts . .  .

  6. I really dont know if it would be a "cure" for depression, but maybe it would take your mind off of it, or give you hope for an afterlife.

  7. Ummm no. Thats not how it works

  8. I think it's probably a thing which alters from person to person.  If you've seen a "ghost" before you would be less likely to be scared.

I don't think it would be a good cure for depression though, it would probably lead to futher confusion and if depression is due to the loss of a person seeing their "ghost" would be more likely hold you back from mourning and recovery of depression. But then everyone is different.

  9. I think you are thinking of hiccups.

Or maybe instead of worrying about being depressed now you are worrying that you are having hallucinations and being schizophrenic.

  10. I have seen many ghosts, but ghosts are not what people think they are.

Real ghosts are almost as real as you or me but the difference is they can do the impossible with great ease.

You may have even met a ghost and not even recognised one.

Unfortunately films only seem to portray misty apperitions, eerie grave yards and scary happenings, when infact the oposite is true. I suppose they adopt the same attitude as the gutter press and make scandles and sensationalism the norm. Well is sells the same way as they have to put bums on seats in cinemas.

I met a real ghost in 2006 he was dressed in a long black coat and stood about 6 ft tall. He had a very strong hand shake, drank pints of beer, walked through walls and doors and travelled faster than my sports car on foot ! He appeared 1 and a quarter miles down the road and arrived before me at the next pub, and later appeared two miles away on a pedestrian crossing, crossing the road about a quarter of a mile in front, he acknowledged me by facing me and putting his hand up.

The only scare that you are likely to have is in a cinema watching horror films or joining some dangerous activities group, you could try Alton towers as well, as I don't think a ghost is what you think it is.

  11. LOL...I think you're thinking of something like..but instead of..shock treatments! I do know what you mean. I have PTSD and Panic Attacks. You'd think that "scares" would be the worst thing...but sometimes...my son (who loves to scare me) will surprisingly scare me (even tho I usually expect it)...and when he does...it shakes around something inside me and believe it or not..it helps. I think a lot of PTSD is dreading and fearing fearful things...but once they happen..you're just glad it's over with and there is a kind of "relief".  I don't think seeing a ghost is the best way to go..since you might end up with permanent PTSD and nightmares. Maybe you can think of something else that will "scare" you out of it...but DON'T do shock treatments! YA helps me a lot....you get your mind on other things and other people on here.

  12. hi,

I don't know if it would help with depression, but I'm pretty sure it would help with constipation.
