Is self levitation a form of telekinetic power?

I mean if you REALLY could levitate yourself...wouldn't that be kind of like telekinesis? If you could raise up other people I think it's telekinetic...so wouldn't this be the same thing?

If it was accomplished using telekinesis (now called psychokinesis (PK) in the scientific research literature) I would have to say yes.

However, PK is not the only way (at least in theory) to self levitate.

yes sure. you have to make your mind so powerful that it can do whatever you want. like if you make your mind powerful and concentrate that your body is lighter than air just keep concentrating and you will be levitating. and if you want to make your mind powerful then meditate as much as you can.

In comics and so forth, that ability is usually described being some sort of telekinesis. Unfortunately there are no real life examples of psychic levitation.
