I want to start my own business in Denver co, I have a degree in police science and have attended various licensed investigation schools. Is Denver or Colorado in general a good place for a new private investigator to start up his own small agency? Thank you very much??

  1. I would guess it's like any other business. You advertise. You network. You work very long hours. You specialize. In your case, get to know the cops and the courts and the collection agencies. Check out your local bar association for matrimonial lawyers. See if you can get the owners of beauty parlors and nail salons to let you put a supply of business cards in a little display holder on the counter. Do free speaking engagements on personal security at women's clubs and organizations. Good luck.

  2. I suggest you ask a private investigator. They are educated and spent a lot time learning to be able to help many types ofpeople. Try calling a Colorado private eye since they are extremely helpful. http://www.privateinvestigatorsguide.com...
