Is she choosing me or her cousin???

Question

My friend would rather play with her younger cousin than hang out with her friends. And it is only because her cousin is spoilt and has everything at her house. Whenever I ask her if she wants to hang out she always say she is with her cousin. And I feel left out since I am her best friend! I feel like shouting at her but I don't want to because that might ruin our friendship. Does anyone have any good ideas of a way I can get her to hang out with her friends so she doesn't get caught uo with her cousin to much. I ain't forcing her, Please help!!!

ONCE AGAIN!!! I would ask you guys to give more details.For instance,how different would the answers be for a 12 year old with a friend that's 11 and  has a cousin of 9 and an18 year old who's friend is 16 who has a cousin of 14.The first sounds quite logical but the second sounds as if the 18 year old wants to hang out with 14 year olds---see what I mean?

Well it is her cousin and there is nothing you can do about it. It is better you move on because you will ruin your friendship. Blood plays more role than friendship, so she chooses her "cousin"

you said "younger" cousin

i don't think you need to compare yourself to the cousin because you are her best friend and i bet its just a phase that she is going through and she will stop it after  a while.
