Is shock wave therapy another name for infrasound therapy?

My horse has a suspensory ligament injury (suspensory desmitis). I am wondering if infrasound therapy would help speed the healing.

You mean like the chinese infratonic machine?  Yeah...It could be though of as shock wave therapy.  But I have used it a lot and it never seemed to do anything.  If that is what you are talking about.
