  1. no, it's actually a form of yielding.

NO...shyness is NOT a form of deviance.  This is the result of "learning" and perhaps has a genetic component to it.  There are many variables which influence how outgoing or introverted a person is....for example, the birth order, the family values and so on.  Many people who are shy when young will blossom at some time in their lives or they may remain shy.  Its all good.

  3. I wouldn't say deviance, since that would imply something of a sexual nature that's considered not-normal. I would say it might be a form of mental illness if it's bad enough to impact your life on a daily basis.
