depends on what kind of skimboarding your talking about. The beach is very flat so your not going to get to do the stuff you see on t.v. like flips and beachbreak barrels.

some times, it realy depinds on what beatch your on.but ya it is prity good to skimboarding in south padre texas.

yes!!!

i just left there and i had so much fun, the skim boarding is great, bcuz sumtimes there is a sand bar like 100 yards out that the waves stop at so there is like a little very shallow pool which is great 4 beginners, but if u want 2 do flips and other more difficult tricks u mite want 2 try somewhere else, like California, Huntington beach is great, plus in south padre the beaches r sum times grounded alot w/ tourists and other onlookers that DO get in the way. but other than that if your lookin 4 sumwhere 4 beginners south padre is great,
