Is slovak difficult to learn?

  1. No, I'd say it's a pretty O.K language to learn, compared to another language like, let's say, french. It's not really, 'easy' because the pronounciation is a bit difficult when you first learn. :) it's similar to polish, so if you know some polish then your already more than halfway there. :) a good program to download is the 'before you know it' one, it's free and you can learn All the basics from that one program.

    P.s.: if you know some slovak, 'Lubim ta' means 'I love you.' try saying that to your girlfriend. :D


  2. I think it is quite hard for an english-speaking person. All the declinations of nouns and verbs...however, everything is possible and im sure you will learn much if you try hard. It is similar to russian but we use latin alphabet. An the last person is right- Lubim ta means i love you :-)

  4. Very (my great-grandmother spoke it).  About as tough as Russian, only you don't have to learn a new alphabet.
