  2. yes if you hide it well. You cannot smoke near parks train stations or bus stations, inside any public place. But cafes (most of them) in nyc don't care if you smoke outside. And the rest of you he is asking a quesiton not your opinion about smoking. I'm sure he knows its not healthy.

    NO Smoking at ANY public area.

    Before long the only place left to smoke will be the moon.

  4. No. but some places let you do it...  

    "There is no smoking allowed in ANY public space, including rental cars"  Exemptions include private residences, personal cars, Indian casinos and "cigar bars" already registered in New York City.
