  1. The truth of the matter is - it is neither as harmless or as harmful as people on either side of the spectrum believe it to be.

  2. trust me.....YES

  3. Someone once told me that it is only likely to kill you if a ton of it fell on your head!

  4. Cannabis is considered as a gateway drug, leading you on to try other drugs. However cannabis is less harmful and less addicitive than a regular nicotine ciggarette. There are very few deaths caused by the use of cannabis (around 2 million people smoke it in the UK), whereas smoking nicotine kills an average of 106,000 people per year in the UK. It is also believed that cannabis can cause problems with your mental health, such as Schizophrenia. Cannabis also affects your performance with concentration, you get a relaxing feeling and sort of lose all care for paying attention with things.

  5. Of course it is !

Putting anything like that into our bodies isn't natural and can have lasting consequences.

  6. moderation of anything is key.

  7. not a bad habit....it is non addictive.

Alcohol and Cigarettes cause adverse health problems leading to death...cannabis doesn't. :)

  8. ok. i'm going to start off by saying that marijuana is very misunderstood. the only reason its illegal is because the government won't tax it and because of the government using false scare tactics back in the 30's ( reefer madness) and criminalizing it. basically brainwashing america about it since then. here's some of the FACTS about marijuana.

    1. THC opens up air passages. and is great for curing asthma attacks ( look it up its true)

2.its wonderful for nausea. thats why they give medical marijuana to chemo patients. it helps them live longer and stimulates their appetite during chemotherapy.

3.it can help some kinds of depression

    4. thier has never been one recorded death from marijuana.

    5. to overdose on it would be impossible

    6. number of deaths from alcohol each year: 80,000. yet it remains legal while marijuana ( a safe harmless plant) remains illegal.

well thats just some of my input. you should really look up and educate yourself more about marijuana.thiers nothing wrong with coming home from work and smoking a little pot to unwind for the evening. and its a GREAT sleep aid too for that matter and eliminates stress for some people.

  9. Yeah it is, if you don't grow your own you don't know what people put in it, plus once it becomes a habit for you, most likely you'll be working at minimum wage when your 30

  10. Ive seen on a list, where it is rated as less dangerous than alcohol or cigarettes.

I'd say smoking a spliff every once in a while really isn't going to do you any harm. Smoking it regularly and depending on it is when it starts to become bad. I think most people i know who use it regularly would admit that it has affected them in some way. However the stories in the news 'I had one spliff and tried to commit suicide' is a bit far fetched.

I have to say, people that are probably more dependant on cannabis, are more likely to be those that a prone to mental illnessess, which is why i think there is such a strong corrolation.

  11. no its not bad, and no its not a gateway drug anymore that liquor or cigs are. its illegal so to get it you have to find unsavory people and those can usually get you other drugs too, thats the only way its a gateway drug, the war on drugs is a joke that is just costing tax payers millions of dollars every year that could be put to better things, schools, roads, health care etc.  i would say that if everyone was honest over 50 percent of any group you asked would say they have at least tried it. moderation is the key to everything.
