Question:

Is smoking in public places (pubs, restaurants, etc.) also banned now on the Isle of Man & the Channel Islands

I know that England joined the rest of the UK in banning smoking in public places on 01Jul07 but due to The Isle of Man & the Channel Islands being semi-autonomous from the rest of the UK have these places followed suit or are their citizens still enjoying more freedoms in this regard?

  1. Surely England was the last remaining civilized country in the world to get real over this revolting habit of creating smelly clothes and hair.


  2. dont know but do know its a c**p new rule -they say u shld give up and non smokers ********* on and on but if alot of people quit then they really would have a lot to moan bout what with them making up another reason to tax everyones ***

  3. The new anti-smoking bill is currently being contested in the high courts by a group called: Freedom 2 choose, let's hope they get a decent result. www.freedom2choose, because the next one will be booze. Promise
