no but they are trying to make it illegal i public places like restaurants

It is in some restaurants...they have separate smoking sections.  it is also allowed in the food courts in malls and in the mall hallways. However, far fewer Mexicans than Americans smoke.

I don't know why would you even smoke in public areas. It's disgusting. Smoking in restaurants isn't very nice to other people. I don't think they will permit smoking in nice restaurants.
