Is smoking sheesha/Argileh considered haram or makrooh?

My dear friend salam for you. Around 50 years ago smoking is makrooh meant if we do it will not have sin but if we do not do it we will have reward so it is better not smoking.But now after a health reseach has been conducted it revealed yhat by smoking we will get high blood tension,lung/throat cancer,impotency and ill fetus in the womb for smoking women.Besides that 40 % of smoke will be absorbed by him/herself and 60% will be sucked by another persons around the smoker.So smoking will give illness to unsmoker too.It is an unsocial doing That is why now,smoking is haram.If we do it we will have sin.Smoking is not a cultural deed .It is a bad habit so we should avoid it if we want to be healthy and do not make bad condition  of environment for others.By avoiding smoking we will not waste

our own money for bad impact to ourselves and for others around us.

It is considered haram because smoking,which includes drinking as well is haram because anything that harms your body is haram.

its been debated back and forth. You have some that say yes and some that say no. but if you do look at the teachings of Islam, it does state not to do harm or harm yourself. and i do believe smoking is harmful to yourself and the ppl around you. In the end, no one really knows 100%. but 99% its is haram.

but in Quran Allah sw said that anything that effect ur body badly is haram like drinking and anything else also u will smill like S**t after that so it will be bad if u go praying and u smell cra

I smoke shisha... I like apple the best, but I don't do it too often- just with friends after dinner..

I'm really not sure if it's haram, though..  InshaAllah I hope not..

it's haram , because the prophet said ( no harm or be harmed)

meaning that anything that is harmful to you or others is haram

it was considered makrooh when people didn't know it's bad effects , or were not sure of them , but now after it's confirmed that the harm is for sure , then it's haram
