  1. yeah.. alcohol is ok if you are responsable and so is marijuana.. Weed isn't addictive and does NOT cause cancer for all of those who say it does. Actually it has been shown that people are at less risk of developing cancer if smoking cigarettes and marijuana... But if you drink excessively than alcohol is much much worse. Liver damage.

  2. Yes.......

  3. For most people, low risk alcohol use will not cause a person to become impaired. There is no way a person can use marijuana and not become impaired. Teenagers think Drugged Driving is safer than drunk driving. In reality marijuana can affect concentration, perception and reaction time up to 24 hours after it’s smoked. That is much, much longer than alcohol can affect behavior. But while marijuana might affect behavior much longer than alcohol and be much more dangerous for driving, it is much safer in that people are very rarely arrested for driving while drugged. Marijuana is especially attractive to teenagers because it’s easier to hide than alcohol, a person can get high faster than they can get intoxicated, and parents don’t detect marijuana. In addition, recent nation-wide research has found it easier for young people to buy marijuana than beer because of increased enforcement of laws against the sale of alcoholic beverages to underage persons.

    Marijuana Facts

The level of THC in marijuana:

In the 60s, marijuana had a THC (the active ingredient that gets people high) level of 7 percent to 14 percent. The pot on the streets today has a THC level of 14 percent to 27 percent. With each hit off a bong or pipe, marijuana smokers inhale more than 150 cancer-causing substances and almost twice as much tar as they would from a tobacco cigarette. Other short-term side effects include short-term memory loss, impaired abstract thinking, and slower reaction time.

    Marijuana can be addictive:

Many treatment centers around the country are treating patients who have a primary addiction to marijuana. Withdrawal signs show up between 10-15 days after the last use and can include any of the following: sleeplessness, anxiety, nervousness, restlessness, loss of appetite, and cravings to use the drug or other drugs.

So really both are bad for you.

  4. They say that a beer a day will clean your system out but I dont believe that and I have heard that 1 joint is like smoking 2 packs of ciggerettes. I would say both bad dont do them.

  5. There is no question here. Alcohol kills thousands of people every year, while Cannabis has never killed anyone. If you drink too much your liver fails, you get alcohol posioning. You can not smoke enough cannabis for it to ever be toxic. Someone mentioned that smoking a joint is like 2 packs of ciggs. NO. Cannabis does have tar, but it does not contain ammonia and arsenic like tobacco, it doesnt have 400 chemicals known to cause cancer, just tar. And guess what? If you vaporize, NO TAR AT ALL. There is no question that cannabis is better for you than alcohol, in fact recent studies have shown that people that vaporize cannabis have a strong chance of stopping the growth of a tumor in their lungs, and some actually shrunk it. Yes, a glass of wine is good for your heart, but alcoholics or people looking to get drunk don't just drink one glass of wine a day do they? People are still stuck on propaganda lies of the 40's and have no true information on this topic.

  6. both bad

  7. It's a lot easier on your liver. And, like you say, weed is a natural "weed." But if you smoke it, it's going to be an irritant to your lungs.

Don't hear of many "smoke and drive" accidents...

  8. yes despite what people say on yahoo answers. it is much better for you

  9. smoking weed? if your question was what is more harmful drinking or eating . if you ate the weed, you would have not bad side effects, and even then, your blood flows better, your metabolism kick on, your neurons in your brain start to fire more. weed is just bad to smoke. otherwise- weed is not harmful.

CBD-  becomes THC as the plant matures, it may not be psychoactive itself, though some research indicates sedative and anti-anxiety reducing effects, but it slows down the rate of TCH in the liver. Thus CBD may intensify the "high" while moderating some of the negative effects such as paranoia, and increasing sleepiness. today the grown weed as an 1,000 x more stronger CBD.

In many ways, the potency debate is irrelevant. Whiskey has 10x as much alcohol as beer--that's why people drink it by the shot instead of pint. Many argue that more potent pot is actually healthier, because you have to inhale less smoke to get the same high.

Many doctors believe marijuana has valid medical uses, but are reluctant to endorse smoking it because of the damages of inhaling burning plant matter. however there is  another source--MARINOL-- capsules containing THC dissolved in sesame oil --the only cannabinoid drug legal in the us.
