Is snopes really as accurate as everyone thinks it is?

I mean, we get snobs all over the world, we get travel n***s who go everywhere bigger and better than everyone else, have to see a location before it gets opened and you disappoint them so they get really hostile and agressive to you that you ruined their whole day, they send, their kids to a snooty North Shore private school, all their 1.3 children just have to get the new apple ipod because their kids forced their parents to do it, the phone bill doesnt get paid it gets disconnected and the kids just have to have a credit card to do breakfast at Double Bay in some pretentiously over rated cafe which pretends to be a must seen restaurant where some wanker, does that come out on yahoo someone who nods off up and down on their wats it?

So, you see we need a senate enquiry into scores, a gentlemans club and I suggest he send a god loving christian like me to see if the women there are really that tempting because at tax payers expense I know, what would jesus do? If Snopes itself isn't lying, and the media sources THEY cite (and often link us to) aren't lying - if in fact the whole worls isn't lying to us - I trust the info I garner there.

Snopes will put their sources up on every 'myth'. If they use more than one or two sources and you check them and they appear legit, given the fact that I checked snopes in the first place (therefore something smelled funny anyway), I'll believe Snopes.

In my experience, Snopes is pretty dang accurate.

Snopes is, IMO, way overrated. I suppose they do enough research to ensure their own accuracy, but I actually stopped sending items to my ex boss because she would send me a Snopes rebuttal that whatever I had sent was bogus, so I got a bit annoyed at the site. Guess I'm prejudiced, but everyone is fallible so they cannot possibly be 100% all the time. They debunk myths people find on the Internet. Supposedly.
