Is snorkeling easily accessible in acapulco?

by easily accessible i mean that i will not have to sign up for a road trip to another destination to do so. Thanks!

Yes, snorkeling is easily accessible in Acapulco.Try the tours to Isla Roqueta...and Yes,the water can sometimes be cold.

La Roqueta Island is considered a national reserve for its flora and fauna, you can enjoy scuba diving and/or snorkeling in a pristine aquatic environment.

Tours to Isla Roqueta are usually five hours and depart in the morning (usually 9-10 am) Naturally, bring your swimsuit and a towel (and sunscreen) for this tour. You may also want to try SCUBA diving which includes one or two boat dives in shallow water,full equipment and instrction by a certified dive instructor.

Snorkeling: Includes several opportunities for snorkeling, guide, and equipment.

Price: US$35

Most Scuba and Snorkeling tours include transportation to and from your hotel or residence (in Acapulco) and usually snacks and soft drinks.

snorkeling is easy to come by everywhere... but SCUBA diving... now THAT is an entirely different matter... even in the 3rd world.

Its incredibly easy, you can either ask the front desk or walk by the beach and you'll see some advertisements for it... its alot of fun too.  It also costs alot less if you have a group, they'll bring down the price if there are alot of heads.  Good Luck!  Have a great vacation!
