Is social security disability income exempt from creditor liens ?

Can a creditor apply a legal lien on a bank account of an individual, who receives social security disability income? Considering all the monies in that account are from disability income?

  1. They cannot garnishee social security disability income.  I don't know whether they can take it out of an account, I think they can.


  2. Yes they can.  You ran up the debt and have to pay, one way or another
