I have someone that wants to purchase a software PC game from me, but he lives in Europe and the game is the US version. Is it legal to ship a PC game to another country?

  1. It depends on the software and the country you are exporting it to.  Some software can be manipulated to have military applications, including some PC games, and that is illegal to export to many countries.  If you want to make this sale, be sure to check with the customs office and find out what you can send and to whom.  You don't want to end up with a fine or in prison because you sent something to someone that is prohibited, especially with the advent of Homeland Security laws.   Were it me, I would just say no!  Better safe and free than sorry and in jail.

  2. sure, you can do what you want with your licensed copy, asd long as you don't keep a copy for yourself.

it might not work on his machine though.
