  1. You can find it if you look for it, but it's not anywhere as 'open' as Amsterdam, I've been to both.

  2. Was the last time I was there

  3. Very central London and just a stones throw from Picadilly Circus and the theatre districts on and around Shaftesbury Avenue.

The main streets are Wardour St, Brewer Street, Great Windmill Street and Old Compton Street.

There is a mixture of pubs, bars, restaurants and lots of doors with the word " model " on them although the ladies are not renowned for posing for artists. It's not as open as Amsterdam and not legal either. Beware the men from Eastern Europe who control most of the female s*x workers too.

It can be a fun place although somwhat seedy.

Old Compton Street is the place to be for a lot of London's g*y community especially the pub Comptons which was bombed a few years ago in a hate crime.

It's a fairly safe area but beware of pickpockets and the odd mugger down the alleyways at night. Drugs can be offered but that happens anywhere now..

  4. Soho is in London - it's a district, like chiswick or ealing is, however it's fairly easy to find "escorts" and drugs all over London.. just go to a club and ask a shady looking guy! Or look in  a phone box for hooker's numbers..

  5. Its in London's West End just off Wardour Street, never been there myself!!!

  6. soho is a district in the city centre of london.  there are alot of p**n shops / seedy shows etc but the uk does not have legal prostitution or drugs anywhere, its just as illegal if you find a hooker or buy canabis in soho as it is in kensington.

  7. yes, its in London, its ILLEGAL to buy drugs AND prositution is still ILLEGAL!!!! but it is sugar coated by the clubs pretending to  be peep shows!

  8. it's not like Amsterdam....

  9. No.  I'm afraid it's sort of a myth.  Soho is in Central London and is generally the area to the north of Leicester Square after Chinatown.  It's Wardour Street and beyond for a few streets.  There are some great bars and restaurants in Soho and yes there are some seedy establishments but mainly these are adult themed bookstores, g*y bars and clip joints.  A clip joint is where they have women posing in the doorways in order to entice men to come and watch a "show".  When the man gets downstairs he is forced to buy a very very expensive drink which costs him all his money, doesn't get a show and leaves grateful that he's still alive.  There are prostitutes in London but it is still illegal in this country and so you would be breaking the law to approach a woman and offer her money for this.  Drugs are also illegal in the UK other than tobacco and alcohol.  There is a high community policing presence in London and many of them operate sting tactics and so I would advise you not to go looking for drugs or prostitutes unless you're happy to spend your evening in a police cell.

  10. i thought soho was in nyc >.<

  11. No its not legal anywhere in the UK, but like some places in London you can get drugs there and maybe a prozie.
