Nowadays modern world is thrusting towards renewable energy sources. It is said renewable energy like solar, wind, tilde energy are good for human and they don’t unbalance the natural balance. So, modern countries are going to set up more and more renewable energy power plants. I have a question about solar power plants using PV (Photovoltaics) cells. They traps energy radiated by electromagnetic wave of sun. It means they store energy from sun. Then they complete leaves energy to our environment. Whatever we do with the energy got from PV cells at last it becomes thermal energy and warms our environment. Suppose an open field of 400 m2. The energy comes to this area from sun most of them reflected, thus this field is not responsible for global warming. But if we fill the total area with PV cells then most of the energy will not be reflected. They will be trapped in PV cells and will produce electricity and at last thermal energy will be produced.

Is it responsible for global warming?

  1. no

"they store energy from sun" False. They do not store energy, they convert it to electric power.

"Then they complete leaves energy to our environment" meaningless

The rest of your argument is specious.

    .

  2. Solar activity (sunspots, sun flares, etc.) have been proven to coincide with an increase in global temps. For the past several years, solar activity has subsided and global temperatures have not risen.

So, technically, the answer to your question is yes.

However, if you mean does harnessing the sun's energy to heat your home cause global warming, the answer is no.

  3. In one word, NO

Global warming is not a man made problem.  We are still coming out of the little Ice Age of the 17th century.

PV helps extend our limited fossil fuels, which is a bigger concern than global warming
