Yes, and they have done a "good job" of doing it. But, don't forget the President and his abuse of Executive Powers, and, most important, the Supreme Court. THEY, only 9 people, get to decide whether or not something is Constitutional, lawful/illegal, etc.

itn is an extremely difficult process to destroy usa. it was built in over 200+ years. it is strongest democracy although some jungle democratic  virus have diseased and inflicted the nation but  we the people in usa have been trying to cure the system. on any standanrd of the current  global democracies , the usa is thye best. yoiu may or may not believe but heaven has bewtowed usa. the comments are patriotic and  of substance, released with consentual ethics of democracy in usa. see below :
