working with people because I do not like small talk. I like to just do my work. People think I am s****. but I am not. I tried office work but I went stir crazy! Hated it! It's the people, the interuptions, having to sit in one place all the time! Help! I need to work! I took the postal exam and am eligible but have not heard about emplyment yet. I did that while in college part-time and liked doing routes alone. I have a wonderful family, husband and 2 older kids and love being home taking care of that stuff. I want to sell on eBay but get overwhelmed with all the steps to list and sell, etc. I don't like waiting for results. HELP!

I am in my 30's and also have ADD.  While I do not use it as an excuse, I do recognize that in some situations it makes me unique.  Some days I feel very frustrated and some days very creative.  It is what it is and I really identify with everything that you are saying.  I am easily distracted, can't stand a sit-still job and love being home with my family too.   The trick is to find your personal strengths and likes and maximize them for your benefit.  So, at this point you seem to be saying that you like variety in your day, a comfortable social situation, something that does not require you to sit still for long periods of time and something with more immediate financial rewards.

STOP the A.d.d. excuse they told me that BS when i was in school, simply cause i was high energy.

personlly i question wether or not the so called disorder even exists.
