  1. No, just a little nuts. Okay, maybe not nuts, but gullible, superstitious and attention-seeking. I have a feeling your friend is a drama queen who has a need to be the focus of attention.

  2. Well, I believe in ghosts and I have been pushed by one. One day, I was standing by the kithcen counter, and out of no where alll of a sudden mY hEAd fell ( like not fell but was pushed down) on to the counter which really hurt, But I wouldn't call my self paranormal. : /

  3. I know what your friend is going through.  I haven't been pushed by a spirit but have heard plenty of them over the years.  What your friend should do is have a religious leader give him/her a blessing.

  4. People aren't called "paranormal"...they're called psychics or empaths or sensitives. I've heard of this happening a lot. It's not that unusual...as far as paranormal experiences go. If they can knock things off of shelves..then they can push people around too. I've had them get inside me and lift me off the couch and out of a chair. I can feel it happening..and you can't do much to control it. One time I had to hold on to the carpet of the floor from  being lifted up. I know most people don't believe it. It has to happen to you for you to believe it. If I'd realized at the time what was happening..I would have held onto the couch and the chair too. I don't know if it was ghosts doing this..or people astral traveling or doing witchcraft.I just know it happened...to me. That's the only reason I believe these things can happen..so I don't expect anyone else to believe it. I've also heard voices..strong loud thoughts...once in awhile out loud. I wouldn't believe that either..except what they told me...happened. I was skeptical and demanded proof. I got more than I bargained for.

  5. I think that most of the answers are correct in saying that your friend is perhaps experiencing activity that is considered paranormal but that it does not make the person paranormal.

On the other hand paranormal people are usually called weird, strange, crazy, odd, eccentric, etc. so I kind of like the idea of using the word paranormal to identify certain people (maybe those of us who can go beyond explaining why something can't happen and move to exploring how something might possibly happen) should be called paranormal.

  6. your friend is not paranormal - but is experiencing paranormal activity

and your friend is not crazy but apparently quite psychically sensitive

  7. I have been a Paranormal Examiner for 28 years now, and you have asked a good question. You are not "paranormal" per se, but you both could be overly Sensitive to paranormal activity.

Activity takes 2 forms:  Active and Residual.  You are describing Active activity that is somewhat intense, by your description.

If you and your friend are experiencing these phenomena on a frequent basis, then you may wish to consult with a Paranormal team in your area.  They should perform their Examination at no charge, and be discrete and keep your experiences Private, if you so desire.

    Good Luck!

  8. Like the other posters said, your friend is "sensitive."  I've been investigating for a long time, and have been pushed, had my hair pulled, scratched and once, even slapped across the face.  She should definitely contact a group in your area to get this checked out.  A reputable group will not charge for their services.  Has she talked to her family about this?  Maybe she's not the only one who's experiencing this.  The ghosts are definitely trying to get her attention.  Good luck!

  9. It's more likely your friend is wanting attention.Hopefully she'll grow up and find a better way to get it.

  10. If those things are really happening to your friend she should see a doctor about it.

Even if ghosts were real how could something with no physical body push you over?

Hearing voices is also a common sign of a mental disorder.

Be a good friend and urge her to get some real help.

  11. it is considered a paranormal phenomenon.  But the person(s) involved are not paranormal.  Some people have different gifts.  Some have more than one and they all work a little bit differently.

  12. no.. they are not considered paranormal just extra sensitive..

  13. Your friend may be many things, but paranormal is not one of them.  She may possess abilities that are considered paranormal.

Paranormal refers to a phenomenon that defies normal logic.  Something that can't be scientifically explained. People who hear or see ghosts, etc, are generally considered mediums.  A medium is someone through whom a spirit tries to communicate.  If she feels she is threatened by a presence, she should seek help from their priest, pastor, bishop, etc, if she is religious.   She can also do an internet search for paranormal researchers in your area.  They may be able to offer some specific advice about what to do or who to contact.

  14. Ive seen weird stuff happen before but just because I don't know what it is does not mean that its a ghost. I don't really believe in ghosts. I'm a video expert and so far all the paranormal videos that I have seen, I have been able to debunk. Videos keep being send to my website and videos that I have sent back debunked. I have been in 15paranormal television shows. I'm not trying to disprove anyone belief but one must find answers to prove something before jumping to conclusions. I must say that your friend is being exaggerated.
