a week ago i was practicing a head stand when my right hand slipped out from under me. I used my head and my left arm to balance me until i felt 3 really loud pops in my back and neck and threw myself to the left onto my side. Now it hurts to cough, laugh, bend over, use my arms to push my self up, walk down stairs, shrug my shoulders, lift myself up and lay down. It hurt specifically in the center of my back up to my neck and in between my shoulder blades. Should i c a doctor, and is it serious?

  1. im no expert at all but iv been having back pains in different areas so iv been looking around for answers my self.  It could be that you pinched a nerve or nervs in your spine this isnt very serious it just hurts like h**l iv had it happen to me all you need is rest.  or you could have pulled a muscle or a few muscles in your back and shoulders. it could just be your joint cracking.  If the cracks hurt a lot then it could be bad like something with joints, ur spine, or bones. Right now wat i have is a pulled or possible torn subsapuaris muscle and that is behind the shoulderblade but my pains are in between the spine and shoulder blade. that is agrivated in many ways that are the same as urs like shruging my shoulders, coughing, lifting my self up, walking, and i have a hard time getting comfertable wen laying on my back.  Id say see a doctor if youv had these pains for a wile other wise just rest them untill there isnt anymore pain.

  2. Yes, see a doctor.   Especially if it's interfering with your breathing.
