I have been reading the Twilight book series, by Stephanie Meyer, and i absolutely LOVE the books. I think I might be too obsessed though. When I am not reading them, I feel anxious and nervous! All I can think about it the books, and about the main characters Edward and Bella. When I was at dance practice the other day, I couldnt wait to get home so I could continue reading. Sometimes I wish I could be Bella! I think something is wrong with me. Like right now, since I'm not reading (I'm almost finished with the 4th book, Breaking Dawn) I am feeling really anxious! Is anyone else this obsessed???

  1. haha nope i totally relate...i couldnt put the 4th book down(or ne of them)!!!i finished it in 2 days

  2. Yes something is wrong with you.

Whoever can think Edward Cullen is real is also. My friends also have that disease. I don't happen to understand. Yeah they're good books, but there isn't any reason to be obsessed with them- The same goes to the Harry Potter books.

You simple really enjoy the books to much and your imagination must be working overtime by the way Meyer phrases everything and puts the plot together.

You are basically just under the 'spell' of the book. It might be a bad thing but you are not alone. A lot of people like the Twilight books series (Some to much-->> My friends for example who fight over the characters they 'own' from the book.[They have lists of the characters they would take to space when they will blow up the world and fly to another in the shuttle. -.I'm not in the list of friends they can take on the shuttle though the idiots...])

  3. That is not normal. Edward is not real. Bella is not real. Seek help.

  4. I've had this happen to me before. There is nothing wrong with you! It's just that your very passionate about the book and the characters. When  you read a good book you get sucked into the characters world and you really get to know them and you care what happens to them. It's almost like there a part of you in a sense. The author wrote the book to have people caught up in there world and in doing so you feel the emotions the author meant to create! And if you think you've got it  bad, imagine how the author feels! She literally has the characters in her head, and hears their voices when she writes about them. And i'm sure there on her mind all day long...it's her job even!

  5. I think so...

  6. Nope, continue when you've finished all, then you'll see nothing will happen but you will start another novel of different novel!

  7. I don't think that this is normal.

You must understand that everything that happens in the book is not real. The characters , the story , everything.

Obsessiveness is not a good thing at all. It's not healthy. I can stand that you like the book and all , but i think that you have let way to much to get yourself into it.

Personally , I don't like Twilight , mostly because of this. There are way too much obsessed fan girl here , who are dreaming to be with Edward or take Bella's place.

That's why i think the book is mostly bad influence to young readers , especially girls.

    xx Greetings XD

  8. haha totally understand!  With each book, I had to read it all at once... even if it took me till the wee hours of the morning!

  9.      I'm sure you've felt just as anxious to see a sequel to a movie you like. The difference with books is that it doesn't fit into a neat little package of a couple hours and you know the next page is just waiting to be read. Its the same way i feel when i pick up a good book I just don't want it to end.
