My cat's name is Homer. He is 13 and he is going to be 14 in October. When he breathes he makes this weird sound now and then. It's not often enough to be snoring. I'm a strong cat lover so please be mature ;D

  1. Homer is an older cat so it is possible he may be having some trouble breathing - He may have developed asthma and what you hear maybe wheezing - I am not real sure what to do in a case like this really- maybe you could try calling your local human society and explain your situation and Homer's symptoms and see if they may offer some advise on it. If they say the can't give advise like that over the phone then ask how would the treat a cat with breathing problems - they may or may not explain it to you but they might be willing to give you a website to visit and research the symptoms and find a way to help him out! A vet would be the best thing considering his age! I do sympathize with you and wish Homer the best outcome possible. You seem to care a great deal for him and he is lucky to have you as a friend! Best Wishes to you and Homer!

  2. At a complete guess and just as something to consider and look into: pneumonia? Sounds like he might have a fluid build up of some kind. Poor little fella, if you're worried best bet is to take him to the vet and give him lots of smooches and cuddles!

  3. it could just be his nasal passages getting tightened with age, its pretty common in old cats

  4. I think he may be just old you know.I would suggest to bring him to vet maybe.Depends on you.

  5. maybe you have something that he wants
