Is sonic really that good ?

i live in michigan and my friends want to make a long drivr to get some and i want to know if its worth it?

I don't really like sonic because some times they get my order wrong because i like a simple burger( Meat, cheese, catchup, and the bun) and they always add mustard or pickles. Sorry I'm a picky eater.

I love Sonic Drive-in! You've probably dined there yourself from time to time, or at least seen commercials on television about the fast food restaurant. Sonic offers something to please even the pickiest eater in your household. From a Super Sonic Cheeseburger to a grilled cheese sandwich, you are bound to find something that tempts your taste buds!

I eat at Sonic almost every day during my lunch hour. It's not an intentional stop, I just find myself thinking, "What do I want for lunch today?" The only thing that sounds good to me is Sonic. I eat the extra long cheese coney and get a Route 44 sweet tea. The cheese coney is a foot long hotdog covered with chili and melted cheese on a fresh bun. The Route 44 is the largest size drink you can get from Sonic. It is 44 ounces of ice cold southern sweet tea. This is my usual stop for lunch each day. I always come back into the office and get giggles from my co-workers; they know where I've been.

The prices are pretty decent at Sonic, of course, as with anything if you shop around you can probably find something less expensive. My lunch cost me $5.69 each day. That's not going to break anyone by any means. The service is fast and friendly and the car hops come around and ask if you would like any additional condiments. They have recently implemented a credit card payment system right from the ordering point. Just place your order, slide your card, and wait for the car hop to bring your meal. It couldn't get any easier than this!

Ok, I really do not care for their food, but you have to go for the drinks, OMG, my favourite drink stop. I kept talking about it to one of my friends and few days ago we went there for lunch and he had a shake and said it was the best he ever had, and today while we were talking we told us he went back and had 4 shakes just to try them. It is good, the smoothies are also great, if you go be there between 2 and 4 when they have half price on drinks, but the smoothies are not included in this, slushes are, and milkshakes are 99 cents all the time. You will like it!

The quality can vary from location to location but they have an extensive menu and many of there products are quite tasty.  Their drinks are really good and many varieties.  They also serve breakfast all the time.  I wouldn't drive too far out of my way for it, but if you're making an outing of it, go for it.  Go between 2 and 4 pm as they have happy hour on drinks 1/2 price.  And Sonic isn't cheap.

Yeah, I want to know that too! I always see the commercials on tv and it looks so good, but there aren't any around here. They finally just opened up the first Sonic here in Michigan in Southfield, and I've heard it's absolutely packed every day! I can't imagine it being any better than A & W though. Their desserts and slushies always look great on tv though!

My fiance and I went camping two weeks ago (we live in Northern Ohio). We don't have Sonic's around us but there are some where we were camping in Southern Ohio. We stoppped at one and had lunch and to be honest, the burgers were not good at all. They were bland. You would expect it to taste like Swensons or something similar. The fries were unsalty and undercooked. The dessert was good. I had a frozen coffee drink. The lemonade my fiance had was good. It's not worth a special trip if you ask me.

Their drinks are really that good, but I don't think their food is, however I love the onion rings and tots.

I wouldn't drive a far distance to eat at sonic, but I may stop if it's on the way.

In my opinion I think their food is really not that good. But if you want to go for slushies then i would so drive 1 million miles for them.. Sonic is a pretty decent place to dine out..

Oh yeah man!  BBQ Bacon Burger with the Onion Rings on top!  And the real fruit slushy!  Now I'm sad that our sonic is like 30 minutes away :(

Sonic is a good place to go for Drinks and Desserts..and their footlong coney dogs aren't bad. Go on a nice day so you can sit outside under the awning and enjoy a rootbeer float or a yummy milkshake!
