  1. yes it seems it is same to buy sony or samsung lcd because both are in joint venture.


  2. My understanding is that Sony, over a year ago, paid Samsung for LCD technology. Earlier this year it was announced that Sony & Samsung would jointly fund the development of a manufacturing facility for LCD panels. This does not mean that Sony uses Samsung LCD panels, but they do have close ties and share technology.
