Is sony going to make a new playstation console soon?

i don't mean psp (portable) I mean like the next ps3 (ps4?). And would they do it soon? I am deciding whether to wait or not I do not mind waiting even a year. thanks!

They will not release a new PS (i.e. PS4) for another 4-6 years but they will release new models though. I think around Christmas a 120gb version should be released. Eventually a slimmer ps3 will be released just like they have done with past consoles (ps- psONE, ps2-ps2SLIM) but who knows when the slim ps3 will be released...

I doubt it. I think the ps3 will be top of the line for another couple years. The PS3 was released on November 06. The PS2 was released at the end of 2000. So I think you still have 4 years to wait.

get the ps3 ist worth it, you'll probobly have to wait like 4-5 years for the ps4

the ps4 will come around 2012 then the playstion network will be closed by 2016
