Question

I've been a vegeterian for awhile now but I'm tempted to try soy milk.However alot of people say it's nasty.Is there a certain kind like vanilla or chocolate that tastes better?

Regular soy milk is the best.

It actually depends on every person. I like soy milk. I think it tastes good and very smooth to my mouth. It&#039;s not very rich like full cream milk though. But I dont like &quot;flavored&quot; soy milks. I prefer my soy milk plain.

  This stuff is not milk at all, its a way too syrupy sweet liquid.  When i went off milk after two weeks my feet hurt very bad-----When I drank milk again for two day my feet were fine.   If you&#039;ve ever experience hurting feet---well believeme you don&#039;t want them. I&#039;m 53 and don&#039;t care for milk but I sure drink a glass daily.  But live and learn, maybe your genes are better than mine---my body just doesn&#039;t receive calcium from infused products.

How could anyone tell you what kind of soymilk is the best when we all have our own preferences? The thing that constantly amazes me is that some people are almost phobic about trying new foods. It&#039;s like they think they&#039;ll die if they eat something they&#039;ve never done before. The best thing to do is to go to a natural foods store (big ones have lots of choices) and buy various brands to discover which ones are your faves. Personally, my fave plain ones right now are Westsoy Original unfortified, along with Edensoy&#039;s rice/soy combo. I like Silk&#039;s chocolate milk the best.

I personally do not like it alone.  But I don&#039;t like milk alone either, so I guess maybe it tastes like milk!  I am about to try Chocolate because I think it would be better (that&#039;s the only way I can drink milk too).  Let&#039;s try it together!

Chocolate soy milk is delicious. I think it&#039;s better than regular chocolate milk...I find that the regular chocolate soy can be too rich, but the light chocolate soy milk is perfect. Vanilla soy can be good or kinda gross, depending on the brand and your personal tastes. Regular soy is pretty disgusting IMHO.

Real milk is nasty.

I usually get Vanilla.

I think Fortified Silk Vanilla Soy Milk is awesome!

i really like silk light chocolate.

it doesnt taste bad, just different

what i did to get used to it was mix half a glass of soymilk and half a glass of regular

and then i just started adding less and less milk

and now i can drink plain soymilk =]]

Well i had some vanilla and i didnt like it at all i thought it tasted like old milk. However my boyfriend says it was okay but he wouldnt dreak it and that it tasted like oatmeal. But i also made him milkshakes with it and he really loved that i just put soy milk a little strawberries and a little bit of banna. ( I also didnt like that)

buy it at Whole Foods sometimes the bigger food stores are selling

products disguised as healthy products get both flavors then decide

I&#039;m not fond of vanilla or plain straight up, but I use them in recipes, but chocolate is DELICIOUS.

You should try the chocolate flavor. I really like the plain from Silk, in the red carton. Its delicious!

I can have any choice of soy milk simply because its so good for health. Try with vanilla for the first time and then go for other tastes. Enjoy drinking(soy milk)

I worked in a dairy where they processed milk and Soy milk. If you only knew what they did with the milk and soy milk that did not meet the grade the 1st. time around. They would reprocess it that means having people open each carton and poor it into a vat for heating again.Believe me you would not drink either one of them.

well, i know soy milk. and it isn&#039;t terribble. it&#039;s got a taste to it, but it&#039;s not that bad, in my opinion.

you can pick up the Silk brand at walmart for a few bucks, and it comes in vanilla and chocolate.

chocolate just happens to be my favourite, it&#039;s a good flavour =]
