Is the cosmos infinite? Consider M-theory, which leads to the idea of parallel universes. I know alot of people like to bring up cosmic background radiation and other theoretical explanations for why the universe is "finite" and expanding into empty space at the speed of light. If the universe is expanding into "empty space"(key word: SPACE), then how is it finite? How is it infinite? I truly believe that the cosmos is neverending and infinite. Remember, we are only abserving a small portion, about 200 light years away, of our "galaxy" and there are billions if not more of these galaxies. If the theory of parallel universes is true then there are big bangs happening all the time and universes are infinitely creating and expanding in and of themselves. I am asking people to explore the idea. Please do not just say, the universe is finite and base your claim on theoretical evidence. We are only observing a portion. Our technology is primitive compared to what lies in the future
