Is spacemountain scary?

Question

all of my friends are going on spacemountain and they want me to go on, but i absolutely hate the feeling of dropping.

splash mountain is like the only thing that i like.

any advice?

Space Mountain is awesome!  You will get the dropping, but they are not straight down.  I think that you should try it once.  The good thing about the ride is that you can't see it before you ride it, so you won't be able to dread any drops!  :)

the drop on splash mountain is worse then ANY drops on spacemountain so if u can handle Splash Mountains drop then Space mountain is a breeze its all dark and tripted out but its alot of fun and a very weak roller coast... I HATE roller coasters and all that but ANY ride at Disney isnt bad cept that Twilight Zone one or whateva....

Space Mountain is an indoor coaster - it's dark, but it doesn't go very fast at all.  It's fun, not scary.

Which Disney theme park are you going to?  Space Mountain in Disneyland doesn't have any steep drops and if memory serves, either does the one in Magic Kingdom Walt Disney World.  The drop of Splash Mountain (about five stories) is MUCH higher than anything in either Space Mountain.

It's in the dark. Goes about 25-30 MPH.It has two drops. The rest are turns. At the end they take you're picture.(you might want to look away. it's really brite)

space mountain is one of the funnest roller coasters like ever..

and its totally not bad at all, just super fun!

Splash Mountain is the one with the drops.  If you like that, you'll be fine on Space Mountain.  There is only one small drop and you're moving so fast that it's over in a second anyway.  Space Mountain is one of my favorites, try it and have fun!

I found Space Mountain to be very dull and slow.  Rock n Roller Coaster is fast and dark and "scary".  I loved it.

haha No, it's not scary at all. There are very, very tiny drops. The drops literally feel like driving down a small hill when you are in a car. The first time I rode this was when I was seven years old (I hated roller coasters at the time) and I loved it!

Space mountain is completely in the dark, so you won't see where you're going.  I personally love it, but I don't know that you'll enjoy it.  From what I recall there aren't really any drops, but the fact that you can't see anything might scare you.  But it's a fun ride, and nothing is going to happen.  Just go have fun with your friends.

Space Mountain is pretty much a baby coaster. It has no steep drops whatsoever and is just a bunch of turns in the dark. The flashing lights at the end and some of the parts may make you dizzy, but that's it.

The effects and music are amazing.

You have to ride it!
