I heated up a jar of sauce last night, fell asleep, and left it in the pan all night. Think its still good? I don't feel like running to the store for more.

  1. although i would not eat it, more than likely yes it is fine if it was plain sauce.....especially if you had your a/c on and it was very cool.....i wont even go into the bacteria speech but if you dont trust it dont eat it, better safe than sorry

  2. yeah just make sure that it not cold you dont want to get sick from it

  3. Personally, I would toss.  If you added any meat to it, definitely toss.  If not, it should be ok.

  4. I AM A 38 YEAR OLD MOTHER OF 4 GROWN CHILDREN! I PERSONALLY WOULD NOT LEAVE IT TO CHANCE!!! BACTERIA DONT NEED A WHOLE 24 HOURS! LOL! GOOD LUCK!

  5. You know what MOM would say....throw it out and buy more.  MOM is right!  ÃƒÂ¢Ã‚™Â¥

  6. Always remember.. that food goes bad at Room Temp. especially being left out for about 8 hours.  I highly recommend going to the store and getting new  sauce.

  7. Food-born bacteria begins to grow in food that remains at room temperature begining at 4hours. If anything is left in the 'danger zone' (40 degrees - 140 degrees) for longer than 4 hours, do not eat it.

  8. first off.
