I looked at my task manager and it said 'spoolsv.exe' and i searched it up and people said it was pretty bad so I deleted it from there. I still gotta do a virus check, but I don't one to do it if it's not even a virus.

  1. It is the print spooler. Without this your machine can not print. I hope you have NOT deleted it as such. There are many badly inaccurate sites reporting many files as serious virus and spyware risks, when they are not. These sites mare trying to get you to subscribe to paid spyware removers which mostly do not work well, and often are actually spyware themselves. Be cautious of such information.

  2. Oh boy, who ever told you to delete a working executable file needs their heads removed, not just examined. spoolsv.exe is the executable file that runs your printer's spool services. All printers "spool" or set up their print jobs to run in the order you send them to the printer.

So, no, spoolsv.exe is "not a deadly virus." It's an important part of your computer's operation. Without it, your printer won't run.

  3. spoolsv.exe is a Microsoft Windows system executable which handles the printing process. This program is important for the stable and secure running of your computer and should not be terminated.

  4. it is indeed i virus. my dad has one and it pretty much screwed his computer. he lost all of his files. then he downloaded avast! and fixed it(:
