I'm really not looking forward to this. Does anyone have any tips on how to kiss someone when you don't mean it?

Thanks in advance!

  1. Well, the idea is to look like you mean it.  Your character needs to mean it, but you don't necessarily have to.  That's the hard part.  But it is part of acting, you have to just kind of suck it up and deal with it.  The best thing that you can do is get very comfortable with the person that you're going to be kissing.  Make it clear about the no tongue thing, that is SO unprofessional.  Don't get too worked up over it, otherwise it will never look real.  I'm quite good friends with most of the people that I've kissed on stage.  After so much time in rehearsals and such and all that time close to each other, you get comfortable with them.  So have fun with it!

  2. No tongue.

  3. No, stage kissing is kinda like a peck on the cheek, but on the lips : / sorry lol. Also, You dont really open your mouth or use tounge or anything keep your mouth closed and pucker up!

    Break a leg!

  4. you dont have to do any tounging just kissing and moving around you dont have to use your tounge just fake it. and remember its not real at all.so you dont have to mean it

  5. well if you wont go all the way and just do a real kiss then you must not care to much about acting then

  6. Pretend its someone else!! but the whole thing about theater is you are ACTING so if you get into the character dont be you be your character!!!! BREAK A LEG!!
