Is there a reason for them to be closed?

Regardless, s***w STARBUCKS!!!!!!!!!!  Find a locally owned coffee shop.  The coffee will be just as good, probably better, and cheaper.  Unless you live in a one horse town, there's probably a locally owned joint.  If your town is big enough tor Starsucks, my guess would be there's at least one mom n' pop coffee house.

I cannot imagine why in the world they wouldn't be unless you live in one of the places being flooded and then there is a chance they might just be closed.

The Starbucks downtown is.  It's a weekday and it's not a holiday, so why would they be closed?

they should all be closed!! it is "Half Day" and should be celebrated by Starbucks being closed.

Even though it is a national holiday(Canada day) i think the shops should still  be open, although it will probably have shorter hours compared to their normal hours.
