Is starting a company that make personalized entertainment system for shop patrons a good idea?

The system would consist of a touch screen that allows the user to pick entertainment options such as internet, movies, music, games or tv.

The system could be use in business where patrons have to wait or bored such as nail salon.

Assuming that thi sis a business idea, you would need to flesh it out some more.  For example, how would the system be payed for - does the shop owner pay a flat monthly fee, does the customer pay per use/per minute?  How much downtime do customers actually have?  For example, a customer waiting for an oil change will have 30 minutes to get bored, a customer waiting for nails to get done might have 5 minutes.

    How is content going to be licensed and how much to license?  This could cut into profit margins.

    What about wi-fi - are there a lot of free wi-fi places (Starbucks, McD's, etc) in the area that would compete?

    While the idea seems interesting, you need to do more research to get an idea whether it would be feasible.
