  1. sure

  2. I think they are pricey but good . You sure couldnt take a family  of 6 there to eat you go to a family restraunt and get a good home cooked meal for what you would spend at s@s

  3. If you use the coupons, it won't be too pricy.  They have really good milkshakes.

  4. I'm not sure where you live, but here Steak and Shake is much cheaper than 10 dollars a meal. There are often coupons in our local newspaper for meals for 5 or so dollars. We don't eat there much as I don't care for it much but it has always been cheap.

  5. I don't think they are cheap, but they aren't insanely expensive.  It depends on what you get, but it could easily be around $10 a meal, with a drink and sides.  In the newspaper, they always have coupons.  I personally don't even like them, they are good every blue moon.  For the money, I would definitely rather have McDonald's.

  6. It depends on what you order-some people think they are expensive for fast food, but you can eat cheap. Their drinks run up the bill a lot.  Sometimes if I eat at the drive-thru I take my own drink, like get a canned soda at a machine, or bottled water that I already have with me in the car.  I know that sounds really cheap of me but Steak n Shake only has one size drink and it's way too large and I just end up throwing most of it away anyway. I guess you could order a jr. size drink, but you still pay more than you need  to for it. Their cheeseburger is only around $2.50, so you can order fries and a small side of chili with a cheesburger for under $10.

Their shakes cost more than most places, but are large and usually delicious (if made right). It's always sort of a risk at Steak n Shake as to whether the food is prepared right. It's great if it is.

I LOVE Steak n Shake food, but I have issues with the restaurant.  The service is always extremely slow for one thing.  What really bothers me is that the last 5 times I ate at the drive-thru they got the order wrong every time. Everybody I know complains about this.I just recently sent an email to them complaining and they never even gave me a personal answer, just a form email saying thanks for the input.  It is just so anoying to get your order, pull over to a parking spot and find out they have given you the wrong thing.  Or, the cheese on the cheeseburger is cold. Or, they couldn't even figure out what a normal amount of condiments is.  I have gotten hamburgers with  a dime size spot of thousand island dressing, so the next time I asked for extra thous. island.  They poured so much on that it was so soggy I could barely pick it up. If you are going to eat there for the first time, I would definately suggest going inside, but be prepared to wait a fairly long time for the food.

  7. No. they're not usually. It depends on what your getting though. & you can find coupons in your newspaper for there
