Is stopping/cancelling Medi-cal easy?

My children, husband and I just started recieving our insurance through my husband's job. I want to do away with the hassle of being on Medi-cal. I only used it for about 3 months of my pregnancy. None of my children have used it. I called my case worker and have yet to be contacted by her. I was just wondering if it's just as hard to cancel it as it was to actually get it.

Send a written letter to the carrier and/or case worker, and include a copy of the new insurance card.  Medi-cal does not want to extend coverage to someone who is able to procure insurance elsewhere.  THey may have to wait till the next month, so there MAY be an overlap, but it is unlikely.
