Is studying A-level Maths and AS Further Maths too difficult?

I've just finished my GCSE's (UK) and im gonna start my a levels in September. I am considering taking A-level Maths and Further Maths coz i might do a maths degree and for that you need to have taken at least AS further Maths for most universities to accept you.

Im not trying to boast but maths is my strongest subject and i did my Maths GCSE in Year 10 and I have also done Additional Maths. Also at my sixth form both are combined so i only have like 7 or 8 lessons rather than 10.

Has anyone done both and how was it, and anyone got any good tips if i was to do it. Please tell me the truth coz i dont want to make a huge mistake!! Thank You :D
