Is summer a horrible time to go to the bahamas???

Me and my family are thinking of going to the bahamas fora week in the summer (atlantis resort to be exact). but everyone is telling us tht summer is a bad time to go. what is your take on this?

Winter is peak.. summer has good deals.  

There's no "bad time" to go to the bahamas, unless there's a hurricane.

It WILL be hot.. but you're on the water.. and at the waterpark.   Those lines for the slides can get long and hot.. so take a dip in the pool beforehand.

i've been to the bahamas during the summer (july to be exact) and in october.  the daily highs both times were about 90 degrees but there's a constant breeze off the ocean so it really doesn't seem that warm.  it's very tolerable.   the only time we really felt the heat was during the daily rain shower.  it got muggy and humid for about an hour after.

i would say be careful because it is very hot in the summer as i went in october and it was reaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaallly hot. but just remember to go in the pool a lot and bring water and alot of sun tan lotion.

They probably only saying that because summer their peak period so it will be much more expensive than going some other  time in the year.... Just go, it wont be that expensive, just you would save more if you went during off peak season
