  1. yes if you know how to, its better when you know people to go with

  2. Absolutely, I've been surfing for a while now. I learned to fit it into my everyday life and as soon as I wake up in the morning, I can't continue my day without at least checking the local surf reports. I am somewhat in a similar situation, and have finally decided that I am moving to the west coast. Yes it is beatiful out there but surfing played a really big role in my decision. It has a way to make everything go easier and gets me to stop and really appreciate life. Life is about being happy so if you enjoy it enough you should. What I am trying to say is that surfing changed my life so why shouldn't I change my life for it.

  3. definately!! its kind of an unstoppable chain reaction... kinda like a drug!

you start out going once or twice, trying to get the hang of it, then you get better, and better, and the better you get, the more you love it! and the more you love it, the more days you take off work! then you realise that your local beach is shite compared to the one on the other side of the country. driving there every weekend takes too much time which could be spent in the water. you move there, so you can surf every day for hours at a time!

eventually you'll end up as a full time surf instructor so that you have an excuse to never leave the water!

but who ever said that was a bad thing? haha

  4. no, it definetly not...

  5. yes it is. if you love the ocean, you will love surfing. i have been surfing for the past 5-6 years. and if i could i would move to somewhere with bigger waves. It is so much fun that even if its flat, i will go out and just sit and try to get a wave. have fun and thats all that matters.

  6. yep....

  7. yes it can be dangerous

  8. Yeah defonatley, not just surfing but any other wave sport, Bodyboarding, kneeboarding, bodysurfing

  9. It can be if you enjoy it enough.

  10. I moved to Hawaii 7 yrs. ago.  I grew up swimming in Texas, and when I got into surfing, I can hit bigger waves than I could without the experience of swiming.  I accidentally discovered surfing, and it's the best therapy for me when I get out into the water.  It is a lifestyle, and if you stick to surfing, it will dictate how you will live your life.  Plus I met my girlfriend while surfing.  She and I go out religiously.  I wouldn't change anything...all due to surfing...

  11. in a word...absolutely!
